Transavia will start selling tickets for next summer on Wednesday 16 October, a little later than usual. This concerns tickets for the period April to October 2025 to destinations such as Malaga, Alicante, Faro, Barcelona, Ibiza, but also destinations such as Biarritz, Ljubljana, Perugia or Kalamata. “Normally, in the month of September, we announce our summer flights for the following year,” says Charles Verstegen, Lead Commercial Transavia. ‘In view of the challenges we have faced in recent summer seasons, we are now taking more time to build extra stability and certainty into the flight schedules.’ This summer, Transavia will fly to 110 destinations from Schiphol, Eindhoven, Rotterdam and Brussels. 52 aircraft will be used for this purpose, two more than in 2024. Next summer, the fleet will consist of 39 Boeing 737-800s (189 passengers) and 13 Airbus A321neos (232 passengers). The last four Boeing 737-700s (149 passengers) will leave the fleet before the start of the summer season. Photo: Charles Verstegen (Archive photo TravMagazine).
