De Jong Intra Vakanties offers customers a wide range of trips in Europe and to distant destinations. Within our Customization Team, the focus is on putting together tailor-made long-distance trips and tailor-made trips within Europe. For our flexible flight offer and departure options, we use scheduled flights and low-cost carriers. You can imagine that no travel advice will be the same. You have a lot of variety in your work and you travel around the world in your mind while putting together the trip!
What are you going to do?
Within the Customization Team, part of the Travel Specialists Team, you provide travel advice and sell to travel agencies, ZRAs and direct customers by phone or email. You advise and put together trips according to the customer’s wishes and budget. You enjoy interacting with customers and have a drive to arrange their holiday perfectly. You will be part of a friendly, collegial sales team where teamwork, results and service are the most important things!
When are you the perfect colleague for us?
- You have already gained (tailor-made) work experience at a tour operator, at the travel agency or as a ZRA.
- Sales-oriented (customized) knowledge of our range of long-haul destinations and/or European destinations is important.
- You are experienced in conducting a good sales conversation in which listening, recognizing and responding specifically to the wishes of the customer is completely ‘your thing’.
- You are service- and customer-oriented, you like to work together and active selling (commercial) is in your DNA.
- Being able to write good, flawless Dutch.
- Being familiar with Amadeus is definitely an advantage.
- You work alternating shifts on Saturdays; We are closed on Sundays.

- A fun, challenging and varied position, preferably full-time but part-time 80% is negotiable.
- Salary is above collective labor agreement with appropriate work experience.
- Conditions in accordance with the Collective Labour Agreement for the Travel Industry, PGB pension scheme and travel allowance.
- Working from home is possible after a training period and being able to work independently (max 2 days for 100% employment, 1 day for part-time employment).
