Courtyard by Marriott Curaçao has opened its doors. The new hotel, part of the Marriott Bonvoy portfolio of 32 hotel brands, is located at Pater Euwensweg 11 in Otrobanda. The hotel is operated as a Courtyard by Marriott franchise, is owned by CMC Real Estate and managed by Highgate. During the opening last week, the entire hotel team, the project developers, owners, financial partners and the press of Curaçao were present. 
Courtyard by Marriott Curaçao represents the perfect synergy between Courtyard’s business ethos and Curaçao’s vibrant culture. The hotel features 150 luxurious rooms and 2 suites with the latest room designs from Courtyard; A warm, neutral and contemporary room design that should create a sense of peace and calm. All rooms feature a modern futon bed, lit with soothing cove lighting that can be easily dimmed from the bed. A specially designed sofa bed for lounging or working that folds out into a full size bed for extra sleeping space. In addition, a refrigerator, coffee maker and a 55-inch TV that can be pulled out and rotated for optimal visibility from both the bed and the couch. Furthermore, the rooms are equipped with both USB and USB-C plugs for optimal connectivity. 
The hotel features the latest lobby design of the Courtyard, a lobby where guests can enjoy an open, inspiring and modern environment. The innovative design of the hotel with open spaces responds to the needs of the modern hotel guest. As an extension of the hotel’s inviting public areas, Centro Gastrobar serves as the center of the lobby. The restaurant with informal setting is the place where breakfast, lunch and dinner are also served. Centro’s shareable dinner menu is curated with a variety of world dishes with a contemporary local twist. In the evening, Centro Gastrobar offers a variety of cocktails, specialty beers and international wines to enjoy at the end of the day with a local program of entertainment.
