Cathay Pacific showcased its brand new Premium Economy cabin for the first time this week at a dedicated Customer Experience Showcase in Hong Kong. This new cabin will be introduced later this year on the updated Boeing 777-300ER aircraft. Customers enjoy luxurious extras such as a leather headrest, personal reading lights, and a 15.6-inch 4K ultra-high-definition display with Bluetooth streaming. The smart storage solutions ensure that passengers always have their personal belongings within reach. In addition, there are now new, exclusive Premium Economy toilets on both sides of the cabin, with touch-free features for added hygiene. And with ambient lighting in all cabins, including Premium Economy, passengers can relax during the flight. In-flight entertainment Cathay Pacific, named the world’s best airline for in-flight entertainment by Skytrax, has been offering customers a comprehensive selection of curated inflight entertainment for years. Passengers will enjoy 4K ultra-high-definition displays, a 4K video-on-demand experience and Bluetooth audio streaming on Cathay Pacific’s state-of-the-art aircraft. The new, intuitive graphical user interface on board the A350s provides a personalized and connected inflight experience.
Exclusive wines from China In the near future, Cathay Pacific will also be serving a range of exclusive Chinese wines to First and Business Class passengers, including the Domaine de Long Dai 2020 from the Qiu Shan Valley, a delicious Bordeaux blend with a fresh balance, and the Silver Heights Jiayuan Marselan 2021, a full-bodied red wine with a unique taste.
