Do you love Indonesia? Maybe you have already visited one or more islands or do you feel connected to the country in a different way? You would like to use your enthusiasm to help our customers realize their dream trip to Indonesia.
What will you do as an Indonesia travel specialist at Van Verre?
You can discuss the desired travel components by phone. Once all travel wishes are clear, you can start working on a suitable travel proposal. You work out the request and after booking, you reserve the travel components with our local agents. Once all the confirmations have been received, you take care of the travel documents. And when your customer is back home, you’ll be curious to hear their experiences and experiences first-hand!
With your knowledge of Indonesia you also help to take our Indonesia product further. In addition to the sales activities, you and your colleagues are also involved in the content of the product of “your destination”. You ensure that you are aware of the developments on the islands for which you are (partly) responsible. You will also consult with our local partners to keep the offer at the destination up-to-date and you can use your creativity in coming up with new products and writing promotional texts for the travellers of the future.
In our way of working, we always try to go the extra mile. We put together trips in which everything is possible. Personal contact, both with the customer and among each other, is very important to us. In addition, we are fully engaged in (personal) developments.
You, in short:
- You have an affinity with Indonesia and have a passion for traveling!
- Sales experience at a tour operator or travel agency is an advantage, but more important to us is that you fit within our corporate culture.
- You can empathize with the wishes of future travelers
- You have a customer-oriented attitude and like to go the extra mile for our customers. You do this by providing excellent service. You also like to talk to our customers and come up with creative solutions if necessary.
- Good communication skills and command of the Dutch and English language
- You are commercially minded and enjoy offering personal service

Van Verre was born out of passion and that still dominates our family business to this day! All destinations have been personally visited by us, in short: we have a lot of knowledge in-house. Personal contact with our customers is really important to us. ‘Know your customer’ is leading, because only then can you put together a truly tailor-made trip.
In addition to Van Verre, we also added the Special Traffic and KidsReizen brands to our portfolio in 2021, focusing on Retail (Special Traffic) and tailor-made trips for families (KidsReizen).
