TUI festively reopened its store on the Groenmarkt in The Hague on Friday afternoon. The store has undergone a complete makeover. On the occasion of the reopening, the BNR Friday Move with Wilfred Genee was broadcast from the travel agency. As is well known, TUI is a sponsor of this weekly radio programme, which is presented by BNR as ‘the most pleasant Friday afternoon drink on the radio to start your weekend’. Genee received well-known names behind the microphone, including Angela de Jong, TV critic of the AD, and two members of the band DI-RECT, which will perform in Rotterdam Ahoy at the end of December.

The new look and feel of the office is in line with the concept of approximately 12 other TUI travel agencies, including those in Laren, Alphen aan den Rijn and Gorinchem. The building has three floors. On the ground floor, more space has been created by removing benches and a different arrangement of the counters. There are presentation rooms on the floors above. These are used, among other things, for product presentations to customers. At the Groenmarkt location, where TUI has been located since 2017, a lot of seat only is sold. TUI wants to use the renovation as an opportunity to sell more custom-made products. Photo above: The TUI Groenmarkt team, with regional manager Jaco van Burken in the middle back.
