Transavia is launching three new destinations from Brussels Airport this week. These are routes to Bari, Marrakech and Thessaloniki. The first flight to Bari, which is also a new destination for Brussels Airport, departed early in the morning on Thursday. There are flights to Bari in Italy three times a week. The first flight to Marrakech (Morocco) leaves on Friday. This route is also operated three times a week. The Brussels-Thessaloniki route will be operated for the first time on Saturday. There are flights to this Greek destination twice a week. In addition, the frequency to a number of existing destinations will be increased. Transavia started flying from Brussels in the summer of 2022. The airline has noticed a growing demand for tickets for both sun and winter destinations from the Belgian airport. Transavia is steadily building the route network in Brussels, including by increasing frequencies. “In doing so, we meet the needs of consumers in Belgium, but also of passengers in the south of the Netherlands,” the company said in a statement. Transavia plans to continue to grow at Brussels Airport in the coming years. (Photo Shutterstock).
