Prijsvrij/D-reizen has had a successful financial year 2023, in which turnover rose to 760 million euros (Source: Top 50 TravMagazine). When asked what his business expectations are for 2024, CEO Marc van Deursen says: ‘We are positive. We expect 2024 to be another record year.’ What will be the focus of Prijsvrij/D-reizen in the new year? ‘Diverse, but we mainly focus on further optimising the customer experience. And of course, sustainability is also an important focus.’ What are you personally most looking forward to in the new year? ‘From a business point of view; More space and time to be able to do business again. The last few years have mainly been characterised by the structuring of the new organisation.’ Do you have any New Year’s resolutions? ‘As far as I’m concerned, the term ‘New Year’s resolution’, and especially an end-of-year resolution, contains too little commitment. That’s why I can’t do much with it; You either do or you don’t. I try to be the best version of myself every day. Of course, with varying results, but that’s what makes us human.’
