More than 100 ZRAs from Personal Touch Travel gathered last weekend in the Flechter Hotel-Landgoed Te Eerbeek. “In addition to welcoming many new ZRAs, there will be another 15 new colleagues who have followed the Personal Travel Academy and will soon be taking exams,” says Arjan Kastelein (director of Personal Touch Travel) in conversation with TravMagazine. ‘We see that more and more young people want to work as ZRA.’ Where normally two meetings per year are organized by Personal Touch Travel, this time the two are combined. In addition to the day program on Friday in which ZRAs joined nine different suppliers, there was also a drink, barbecue and party (including DJ) on Friday. Saturday morning there was the opportunity for the ZRAs of Personal Touch Travel to follow a course in mobile photography. In Eerbeek, professional portrait photos were taken for the (personal) pages of the ZRAs. The franchise organization is therefore in the process of modernizing the recruitment website. The next step will be to renew personaltouchtravel.nl. Kevin Kater, marketing manager at Personal Touch Travel since August last year: ‘We are in the process of renewing/modernising the corporate identity. The current logo (which was introduced seven years ago, but will remain as it is.’ Thea van Spaandonck, commercial manager Personal Touch Travel for a year and a half and before that ZRA at the franchise organization for 13.5 years, sees that the turnover at the ZRAs is going well. ‘The travel costs are huge, but the consumer ‘just’ accepts them. The Dutchman can’t live without a holiday.’ Kastelein, who has been active at Personal Touch Travel for ten years this year, sees a bright future: ‘As ZSO, we are in the right corner, because in general, people who have a little more to spend opt for the added value of personal travel advice. In addition, we just have a very nice group of ZRAs that is growing steadily. We don’t want to grow very fast, it’s more fitting for us that you know all your colleagues by name.’ Pictured from left to right: Saskia Veenhuijs, Thea van Spaandonck, Arjan Kastelein and Kevin Kater.
