The now-defunct Pharos Reizen and FOX travel brands are reportedly being revived. The two brands merged into ANWB Reizen in mid-2021. There is now talk of an imminent management buyout that would re-market the two brands. TravMagazine spoke to Gert-Jan Bressers, who was appointed in 2017 as general director of FOX, ANWB’s long-distance travel, and currently works as director of tours at ANWB Reizen. ‘We are engaged in a strategic orientation of ANWB Reizen and that is obviously related to our brand policy. But I can’t say anything about any management buyout of Pharos and FOX and so let me put it this way: No comment.
