Starting in 2024, Norwegian Cruise Line will offer more than a thousand single staterooms on all 19 ships in its fleet. Previously, single cabins called “Studios” were only available on nine ships. Solo Inside, Solo Oceanview and Solo Balcony staterooms are introduced for single travelers, with no single occupancy surcharge. On many ships, solo travelers also get access to the Studio Lounge, an exclusive relaxation area with a bar and snacks. With the capacity expansion and the availability of the new solo cabin room categories across the fleet, NCL now offers solo travelers the opportunity to sail to destinations such as Asia, Africa, Australia and New Zealand at affordable prices.
