The German-Scandinavian Apollo Reizen, which has also been active in the Dutch market since 2023, will focus more explicitly on retail. To this end, Apollo Partner Web has been launched. It allows travel agencies and agents to book customers directly. This opens the door for both new partnerships and new customers, the company says. “Since travel agencies play an important role in the Dutch market, we are very happy that we have finally been able to realize this,” says spokesperson Robbin de Waal. “Now we can offer them a full-service solution with a fully developed booking system, Apollo Partner Web, and last but not least, personal support from our Contact Center in Amsterdam.” Apollo Reizen says it is growing rapidly in the Netherlands. Sales in January tripled from the month before, the company says. Concrete figures are not mentioned. Apollo is a specialist in both sports travel and concept hotel experiences. According to Apollo, this has made it one of the most popular players in the Scandinavian market for many years. Under the Apollo Sports brand, the tour operator offers sports holidays and sports hotels, for elite athletes, solo travelers and active families. In addition, Apollo Reizen has six different hotel concepts, adapted to various life stages and preferences under the umbrella ‘Apollo Mondo’. The offer ranges from first-class family hotels aimed at holidays with children, to design hotels, hotels for adults and hotels with a distinctly local touch. ́The Mondo hotels are by far our most popular hotels; No less than 50 percent of our guests choose to stay in one of these hotels. One of the best aspects of Apollo Partner Web that is now going live is that all these products will also be available directly through the travel agencies,” says de Waal.
