
Eurowings started flights between Amsterdam and Salzburg on Friday. Lufthansa’s low-cost subsidiary will fly twice a week between Amsterdam and the Austrian city in the coming winter season. Eurowings flies between Salzburg and Amsterdam on Fridays and Sundays throughout the winter season. With the operation, the company focuses mainly on the target group of winter sports enthusiasts. The route is flown with an Airbus A320. The flying days are perfect for a weekend trip to Salzburg. The flight times on Friday are: Salzburg-Amsterdam, departure 10.10 am, arrival Amsterdam at 11.55 am. Return on Friday is at 12:35 p.m., arriving in Salzburg at 2:10 p.m. The flight times on Sunday are: Salzburg-Amsterdam departure 17.50 hrs, arrival in Amsterdam at 19.35 hrs. The return flight to Salzburg is departing Amsterdam at 20:15 and arriving in Salzburg at 21:50. The first flight from Salzburg was welcomed at Schiphol by the Lufthansa/Eurowings team, including Carolina van der Spoel (Marketing Manager B2C), Victoria Bubmann (General Manager Sales Netherlands) and Sara Braun (Head of Channel Management & Distribution).
