DTA (Dutch Travel Alliance) and Corendon are going to intensify their cooperation. The two parties aim to continue growing together in the coming year. The new appointment was clinched during the annual Meet & Greet of DTA shareholders and B2B relations/suppliers. “In these times, it’s great that you can make agreements together based on a win-win contract,” said Erik van der Waard, chairman of DTA’s Supervisory Board. ‘Last year it turned out that Corendon and the DTA are very close to each other and for that reason the existing agreements have been broken open and improved. The parties have a long-term focus. From a business point of view, this gives us peace of mind, so that we can fully focus on the business in the coming financial year. Supplier and shareholders can move forward on the basis of a good agreement and know where they stand.’ The purchasing organization DTA recently joined 11 new shareholders who have switched from TravelXL. These were also added to the contract agreements with Corendon. Van der Waard: ‘This shows trust and appreciation, which is highly appreciated by us. We like to do business on the basis of mutual respect and appreciation. And with the new agreements, Corendon fits in perfectly with that idea.’ Corendon is also satisfied with the collaboration and the results of the past year, says Debora de Roos, Director of Marketing at Corendon.
‘DTA is a very valuable partner of ours and in order to grow even further together in the coming year, we have decided to improve the existing deal. We look forward to a fantastic 2024.’ As of 1 November 2023, the DTA has 43 shareholders, making it the largest independent purchasing combination in the travel sector in the Netherlands.
