Allianz Partners and Fadiro have further joined forces and linked their two application systems. This means that the travel agent can take out travel or cancellation insurance directly during the booking process in BAS. As of 6 December, travel agents will find an unmissable activation banner in the customer’s BAS travel file. By pressing this banner, it is possible to retrieve real-time insurance premiums, take out or terminate insurance. A lot of data is already pre-populated, making closing very easy, the two companies say. Travel agents can take out Short-Term Travel Insurance or Short-Term Cancellation Insurance for customers. Allianz Partners recently renewed these insurances. The most popular combinations of the past period form the basis for the new insurance packages. These appear to be the best match for the wishes and needs of customers. With the contents of each package at a glance, the customer can easily make a suitable choice. “After many years of working with Fadiro, we are now really making a big step forward in technology by linking our applications,” says Géke McNab, Business Development Manager at Allianz Partners. ‘It’s a process that doesn’t stop, because what could be better than continuously refining the improvement of our services to our joint customer: the travel agent.’ Theo Hoving, managing director of Fadiro, calls the renewed integration into BAS of Allianz Partners ‘a valuable addition for travel agents’.
‘Where convenience and simplicity are paramount. The way in which Allianz Partners now manifests itself in BAS is a new starting point for process improvements within BAS. We are proud that Allianz Partners has taken the step with us to integrate their new portal.” Photo: Géke McNab (archive photo TraMagazine).
