Although the formal appointment has yet to follow, ANVR director Frank Oostdam can already prepare for a second term as chairman of ECTAA, the European organization of travel agents and tour operators. No opposing candidates have come forward for the position. This means that Oostdam is the only candidate for the presidency of this European umbrella organisation of trade associations, also known as the European ANVR. The official appointment is on June 13. Oostdam has been chair of ECTAA since June 2022. His second term is also subject to a two-year term. As is known, Oostdam will say goodbye at the end of this month after 17 years as director of the ANVR. His farewell reception will be held on Thursday 27 June, from 16:00 to 18:00 in Kasteel Hooge Vuursche in Baarn. (Archive photo TravMagazine).
