Antoin Klein Hofmeijer will start as the new Head of TUI Dutch Caribbean on 1 April. In this role, he succeeds Rick van der Pluijm, who has held this position for the past three years. Antoin has been employed by TUI for 10 years now and started in 2014 after obtaining his bachelor’s degree in Management Tourism at Breda University of Applied Sciences in the combined role of Product and Purchasing Manager City. He then progressed to the position of Product Manager Sun & Beach. Since April 2019, Antoin has been working as Account Manager Channel Management Retail Partners. Since 2021, he has held the role of Product Lead City Western Region. Antoin will be part of the team of Sebastiaan de Vries, Head of Customer Services Belgium/Netherlands & TUI Dutch Caribbean. Sebastiaan is a member of TUI’s recently formed Belgium/Netherlands board, led by Managing Director Arjan Kers. In his new role, Antoin will represent TUI in the Caribbean to various internal and external stakeholders with the aim of further developing TUI Dutch Caribbean as an airline, travel organization and local employer. Rick van der Pluijm has taken on a new challenge within TUI. Since 1 February, he has been Head of Markets Tours. In this role, he is responsible for the product Tours (tours) and its procurement at TUI Group level. Rick will soon move back to the Netherlands and Antoin will settle in Curaçao with his family.
