The Travel Club started the new year with five new ZRAs and an annual result with a record turnover of 217 million euros. ZRAs with a turnover of 1.5 to 2 million euros are no longer an exception, says the organization. “The popularity of a personal travel advisor has never been greater. This is also reflected in the number of starters,’ says director Martine de Knoop. It is striking that many younger ZRAs are starting. Re-entrants and switchers also quickly find their place within the chain. Recently started ZRAs quickly get off to a good start with good turnover, says De Knoop. “This success is partly due to the easy to book offer from the regular suppliers as well as the company’s own dynamic offer. With a dynamic packaging platform, its own quotation tool and an in-house tour operator for long-distance travel, a ZRA affiliated with one of The Travel Club’s brands can offer and book a suitable trip to its customers optimally, efficiently and safely (due to tour operator liability, ed.).
