Since registration for the Airline Express 2024 started two weeks ago, 450 participants have already registered. As a result, the first meeting at Schiphol (Monday 25 March) is already fully booked. This has been announced by the board of the organizing PASRA (Passenger Airline Sales Representatives Association). However, candidates do not have to worry, because they can sign up for the waiting list on the renewed website and still have a chance to participate. With only 120 boarding passes available per evening, it is advisable not to wait too long. The revamped website pasra.nl now also provides a handy overview of airline contact details for all travel agents. During the Airline Express, the annual airline event, travel professionals are updated by airlines on the latest developments in the aviation industry. This year, 24 airlines have signed up. The PASRA promises an evening full of inspiration. In addition to speed dating with professionals from the aviation industry, there is the usual buffet and visitors have a chance to win continental and intercontinental tickets. Here’s the schedule:
- Amsterdam (Schiphol Building) on Monday 25 March
- Rotterdam (Van der Valk Schiedam) on Tuesday 26 March
- Eindhoven (Van der Valk Best) on Monday 8 April
- Duiven (Van der Valk Duiven) on Tuesday 9 April
- Hengelo (Van der Valk Hengelo) on Monday 22 April
- Groningen (MartiniPlaza) on Tuesday 23 April
Participating airlines in 2024 are: Emirates, Etihad Airways, Qatar Airways, KLM, Lufthansa Group, Air Europa, Air Transat, Air Canada, JetBlue, China Airlines, Eva Airways, Korean Air, TAP Air Portugal, Condor, ITA Airways, Croatia, Icelandair, LOT, Air Malta, GSA APG Benelux, GSA Aviareps, AeroMexico, Garuda Indonesia and Saudi Arabian Airlines. Participation in the Airline Express is free for all employees in the travel industry. The event starts at 5:30 p.m. and ends around 10:00 p.m., with the buffet open from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Presentations start at 19.00 hrs. The evening ends with a game where tickets can be won. Each travel agent will also receive a Pasra gadget as a souvenir. Cancellations (including no-shows) will be charged at 50 euros. Interested parties can register via pasra.nl.
