A journey that is characterized by special encounters, a rich cuisine and many natural and cultural highlights. I have been living in the United Arab Emirates for a long time and in recent years I have spoken to many tourists from Saudi Arabia who came to spend their holidays in the UAE and told me enthusiastically about what Saudi Arabia has to offer. With each conversation, my interest in Saudi Arabia grew. Unfortunately, it was not possible to visit Saudi Arabia as a tourist before 2019, but I kept an eye on the news in the hope of one day being able to go there and see the most undiscovered country in the world with my own eyes. Since the fall of 2019, Saudi Arabia can be visited on a tourist visa. I didn’t hesitate for a moment and was one of the first Dutch people to obtain a tourist visa and immediately paid a two-week visit to the country. From that moment on, my interest in and enthusiasm for Saudi Arabia has continued to grow. I am always surprised by the great hospitality, the breathtaking landscapes, the rich culture and the ambitious vision of the kingdom. When I visit Saudi Arabia I like to visit the famous cities such as Riyadh, Jeddah and Medina and more and more often I try to make a trip to lesser-known places such as AlUla, Yanbu and the green and colorful provinces of Aseer and Al Baha. Driven by the prejudices about Saudi Arabia, it is my mission to introduce you to the real Saudi Arabia. All my knowledge and experience comes together on this website.
