Her 10th anniversary as a ZRA with The Travel Club and the opening of her new home office gave Annemarie van Erp a busy open house Sunday. Over 150 regular clients knew the way to her office. “I initially thought I should be happy if maybe 50 people came, but not that it would be this busy,” Annemarie stated Sunday as she toured her new office in Heeswijk-Dinther, Brabant. The overflowing table of flowers, bottles of wine and plants prove that her regular customers appreciate her. Together with her family members and colleague Nancy van Rooij, who is an Africa specialist and does a lot of back office work, Annemarie welcomed her visitors. Annemarie, who joined The Travel Club 10 years ago, is in the business for 33 years this year. She knew at a young age that she wanted to work in the travel industry. Among other things, she worked at Reisburo Van Dongen in Veghel, where she was most recently office manager at the Heesch branch, before starting her own business in 2013. ´I couldn’t do anything else and I didn’t want to do anything else,´ says Annemarie about her reasons for starting work as an independent travel consultant. She now has a broad clientele, from the Heeswijk-Dinther region to Zeeland. More background information in the upcoming TravMagazine.
