The ANVR launched a new website Wednesday. After years of communicating primarily only with its members, today much of the ANVR website is also accessible to travelers. This better highlights the important assurances ANVR members offer travelers for a carefree vacation. ANVR’s brand awareness has grown tremendously in recent years due to the uncertainties travelers faced during corona and other times. It became increasingly clear what assurances were offered when a vacation or business trip was booked through an ANVR recognized travel company. Focusing the new website now on the traveler creates the opportunity to provide more explanation and background information. In addition, this is a great medium in which to reiterate the positive added value of a package tour, in any form. The clear mission, vision and values of ANVR and its members are defined and it is immediately clear which travel companies are affiliated with ANVR, and therefore belong to the Approved ANVR travel companies. “Although we are not a consumer organization, we hope that this revamped website will bring more clarity to travelers and make it easier to find information and important news,” said Hanita van der Meer, ANVR’s Marketing & Communications Specialist. ‘In addition, we hope it will provide travelers with answers to questions they may have and that it will clarify why it is important to always pay attention to the ANVR logo when booking a vacation, including online.’ On the new website, of course, much of it will remain accessible only to ANVR members requiring login. Here, ANVR members can read all messages in full and enjoy all the extras and benefits that ANVR membership offers them. Industry Partner The new design, which was developed by industry partner Blue Flamingos, looks modern and has also been extended to social media channels. ‘Through this channel, ANVR will provide its members with more insight into what the industry association does for its members, and the traveler can be made aware through social media of the many benefits, conditions, advice and securities ANVR members have to offer,’ Van der Meer said. The social media strategy was created with the help of industry partner Blue Flamingos. Database The new website is linked to the trusted system of Windex that manages the excessive database of all ANVR members, and has been doing this for years to full satisfaction.
‘Partner Windex has a lot of experience with databases for associations and trade associations in the Netherlands, so their knowledge is very important to us. The link makes it possible to give the front end a new look and make it more accessible, while retaining all relevant information from the existing database.’ Blue Flamingos successfully linked the front end (CMS) to Windex’s database with an additional member login portal being set up by Windex.
