Travelers on Corendon’s direct flight between Amsterdam and Curaçao will be able to enjoy Caribbean meals from November 3. The authentic Caribbean dishes are composed by Justin Niesen, chef of restaurant Mondi. The dishes were presented during a tasting session for business relations and customers in the Boeing 747 in the garden of the Corendon Village hotel. Chef Niesen, who is responsible for the composition of the dishes, literally gives wings to the flavours and smells of Caribbean cuisine with his culinary creations, says Corendon. ́A holiday to Curaçao starts on board the plane. ́ Niesen is proud that his dishes are now also served on an airplane. ́And in this way I can promote the island where my roots lie. ́ Passengers will soon be able to enjoy a pastry as a snack and a hot meal from Mondi. They can choose from Antillean Stobá with meat, chicken coconut or a vegetarian variant with cauliflower or beetroot served with a salad, sandwich, dessert and a drink of your choice. On the night flight from Curaçao to Amsterdam, no snack is served, but a Continental breakfast in Mondi style. Corendon operates the flights to and from Curaçao with a modern Airbus 350-900 from World2Fly. There is entertainment on board and Wi-Fi service for a fee. In addition, there is an Only Adult zone at the front of the aircraft where only passengers aged 16 and over can reserve a seat. The Caribbean meal completes the flight experience.
