{"id":116250,"date":"2024-07-13T22:44:00","date_gmt":"2024-07-13T21:44:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.travmagazine.nl\/klm-air-france-and-sas-codeshare-and-interline-agreements\/"},"modified":"2024-07-13T22:44:00","modified_gmt":"2024-07-13T21:44:00","slug":"klm-air-france-and-sas-codeshare-and-interline-agreements","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.travmagazine.nl\/en\/klm-air-france-and-sas-codeshare-and-interline-agreements\/","title":{"rendered":"KLM, Air France and SAS: codeshare and interline agreements"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>KLM, Air France and SAS will work more closely together.<br \/>\nThe companies have signed codeshare and interline agreements for this purpose.<br \/>\nThese agreements also include mutual benefits for their loyalty programs.<br \/>\nThey will enter into force on 1 September this year, when SAS will officially join the SkyTeam alliance, of which Air France-KLM is a founding member.<br \/>\nIn April, it was announced that SAS would switch to Skyteam and leave Star Alliance on 1 September.<br \/>\nThe codeshare agreement covers a wide range of European destinations.<br \/>\nKLM and Air France customers will have access to 33 destinations in Northern Europe, via SAS&#8217;s hubs in Copenhagen, Oslo and Stockholm.<br \/>\nSAS customers will have access to 33 destinations in Europe, via the KLM and Air France hubs at Schiphol and Paris Charles de Gaulle.<br \/>\nIn addition, intercontinental destinations will be added to the agreement in the near future.<br \/>\nThe interline agreement covers the European network of KLM, Air France and SAS and offers customers extensive travel options.<br \/>\nKLM and Air France operate up to 200 weekly flights between their hubs &#8211; at Schiphol and Paris-Charles de Gaulle airports &#8211; and SAS&#8217;s hubs in Copenhagen, Oslo and Stockholm.<br \/>\nSAS currently operates up to 65 weekly flights to Schiphol and 44 flights to Paris-Charles de Gaulle from Copenhagen, Oslo and Stockholm.             <em>(Image: KLM).<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>KLM, Air France and SAS will work more closely together.
