Roompot and Landal GreenParks will continue together under the brand name Landal. The company wants to establish its headquarters in Amsterdam. The changes are part of an acquisition of Landal GreenParks by competitor Roompot. The acquisition was announced back in 2021. In 2023, permission from the competition authorities came. Roompot is owned by the American investment company KKR. At the time, it stated that it wanted to become the largest provider in the European market for holiday homes. Roompot and Landal GreenParks together have more than three hundred parks in thirteen countries. The group had only wanted to announce the name under which the two parks will continue in June, but on Thursday it was leaked that it is Landal, writes NU.nl.
