The Calamity Committee has determined a calamity for Jordan with retroactive effect for April 14. That country closed its airspace that day as a precaution due to an (imminent) air attack by Iran on Israel. As a result, participating tour operators were unable to meet their obligations to travellers. The Emergency Commission considers this situation to be imminent molestation and has taken the following decisions: Determination of an imminent calamity on April 14, 2024 for the whole of Jordan, based on imminent molestation. Determination of a payable situation on 14 and 15 April 2024 for those places in Jordan where tour operators participating in the fund were no longer able to fulfil their obligations under the travel contract as a result of this impending calamity \u2013 and the infrastructure affected by it.
