The announced renovation of Eindhoven Airport’s runway, which caused a stir at the beginning of this year, will take place from February 2027. This is reported by various media, including Omroep Brabant. The work will take approximately five months. During that time, the airport must close. In mid-February this year, it was announced that Eindhoven Airport, owned by the Ministry of Defence, would have to be closed for five months for the work. A deadline was not mentioned. Arjan Kers, CEO of TUI Belgium and the Netherlands, called this ‘a surprise for the entire sector’. He was supported by ANVR director Frank Oostdam.
