With ten concrete commitments, they want to contribute to future-proof aviation for all Dutch people. The goal of the thirty-one parties is to work with the Dutch, politicians, partners and sector parties on the basis of these commitments to achieve a joint action agenda that will make Dutch aviation cleaner, quieter and stronger, according to a joint statement.  <\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"ppmodule_textblock pp_moduleblock\">\n<div class=\"text_companyprofile\">\n<div class=\"pp-overflow-hidden pp-min-width-5\">  &#8216;Aviation connects people, economies and cultures and is crucial to get goods such as medicines, fresh food and electronics to the right destination on time. But flying also has an impact on the climate and the living environment. It is therefore important to find a new balance with the living environment, so that the Dutch can continue to fly affordably and the Netherlands remains well connected to the rest of the world. <strong>Good balance<\/strong> The Dutch aviation sector needs perspective in order to take steps forward and to be able to move along with global developments. By successfully implementing the action agenda together, we will achieve the following in the coming years:  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A good balance with the living environment<\/li>\n<li>That the Netherlands is excellently connected to the rest of the world<\/li>\n<li>That flying remains accessible to all Dutch people<\/li>\n<li>Stronger global and European policies<\/li>\n<li>That the Netherlands is a leader in the production, logistics and purchase of sustainable fuels (SAF)<\/li>\n<li>That we have achieved our 2030 climate targets and are well on our way to Net Zero CO2 emissions by 2050<\/li>\n<li>More international trains and an excellent connection to Schiphol<\/li>\n<li>More recycling and less residual waste in the aviation sector<\/li>\n<li>Quieter Dutch aviation by day and by night<\/li>\n<li>That innovations, such as electric flying and hydrogen-powered flights, will go to market faster<\/li>\n<li>A good and safe workplace&#8217;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"ppmodule_quotes\" class=\"pp_moduleblock\">\n<div class=\"table_quotes\">\n<div class=\" td_quotes\">\n<div class=\"pp_quote_text_noimage\">\n<div class=\"pp_quote_tweetbutton\">Some responses in no particular order to add:<\/div>\n<div class=\"pp_quote_icons\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"pp_quote_text_noimage\">\n<blockquote class=\"text_quotes\"><p><em>&#8216;Only by working together with the government, knowledge institutions and the business community can we take major steps towards cleaner and quieter flying. The Netherlands has the expertise, infrastructure and entrepreneurs to lead the way in this. With the ten concrete commitments of the Dutch aviation sector, aviation shows what we stand for, what politicians can contribute to achieving these ambitions and what the Dutch can gain from it. Let&#8217;s work together to build future-proof aviation for everyone.&#8217;<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<div class=\"citaat\">Marjan Rintel, CEO KLM<\/div>\n<div class=\"pp_quote_tweetbutton\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"pp_quote_icons\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"pp_quote_text_noimage\">\n<blockquote class=\"text_quotes\"><p><em>&#8216;There is a great need for flying and it is not going away. The Schiphol and KLM network, with frequent direct connections to all economic centres in the world, is one of the few areas in which the Netherlands still distinguishes itself in a positive way in terms of business climate. History proves; Once such a network collapses, it will never come back. We need to nurture that international connection, while at the same time making flying faster, cleaner and quieter. It&#8217;s good that there&#8217;s a plan for that.&#8217;<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<div class=\"citaat\">Ingrid Thijssen, chair of the Confederation of Netherlands Industry and Employers (VNO-NCW)<\/div>\n<div class=\"pp_quote_tweetbutton\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"pp_quote_text_noimage\">\n<blockquote class=\"text_quotes\"><p>&#8216;<em>There are important challenges and opportunities to make the aviation and travel industry fit for the future. TUI has been investing for years in a young and modern fleet that is quieter and more economical, and in the coming years we will continue to take steps forward in the field of sustainability. A new cabinet now has the opportunity to restore the balance and the relationship with the travel sector. We want to jointly make plans that have a positive effect on the living environment and entrepreneurship.
