Dani\u00eblle Goedkoop is leaving for a new job after seven years, while EURAM itself will develop more as a technology company. &#8220;But EURAM Creative Packaging and TripSpark remain important focal points,&#8221; says Business Development Director Vincent Hekkert. Dani\u00eblle Goedkoop, who worked for Air Canada for a long time, has been the face of EURAM in the Netherlands for the past seven years with Hekkert. That will change. Effective December 1, she will join Lieb Management, where she will represent various destinations. &#8216;It came my way and after seven years at EURAM, I thought it would be a great opportunity to represent destinations. That&#8217;s a passion of mine. I remember sitting in the back of my parents&#8217; car as a child, on the way to the south of France, with the Michelin map on my lap and looking up the places we passed. That&#8217;s where my fascination for destinations started. And Lieb Management is a fast-growing company that has many great destinations in its portfolio.&#8217; When asked what she will miss the most, Goedkoop says: &#8216;Without a doubt, the collaboration with Vincent, it was very good. He was always open to ideas and I had a lot of trust and freedom. I also learned a lot. Sales is mainly a matter of listening and asking questions to get to the heart of the matter. But I don&#8217;t want to exaggerate all the attention around my departure. I&#8217;m not the queen.&#8221; When asked what he will miss the most after Dani\u00eblle&#8217;s departure, Hekkert says: &#8216;Especially the daily consultations, the sparring about opportunities and challenges. With Dani\u00eblle, I really felt that we were doing the work together and could also celebrate our successes. And besides, I was always good at talking to Dani\u00eblle about football&#8230; But I wholeheartedly grant her this opportunity. The new job fits her like a glove. And I don&#8217;t rule out a future collaboration.&#8217; For the time being, the position of Goedkoop will not be refilled. Now that EURAM&#8217;s teams in Belgium and France are up to date again after corona, Hekkert can again focus fully on the Netherlands. In addition, Olivier Dewit, who has been working for EURAM Belgium and Luxembourg for 10 years, will become more involved in the Dutch market. He was already present at the recent edition of TravDay in Amersfoort, Netherlands, where EURAM launched its latest tool TripSpark, the solution for tailor-made vacations worldwide. TripSpark is a perfect complement to the well-known EURAM Creative Packaging. &#8220;Sales work is changing,&#8221; Hekkert says. &#8216;The time when you visited six travel agencies a day is no more. We will continue to meet our users, at events such as TravDay and the supplier days at our customers. Knowledge transfer to our users remains an important spearhead. We will also continue to give webinars.
