He will join Price-Free Vacations as Director of Commercial Excellence effective December 1. Bovenhorst reports this via LinkedIn. Briefly, he talks about his career at Sunweb, which he describes as &#8220;a great Sunweb ride. &#8217;17 years ago, for my first day at work, I walked into the Sunweb office at the Schouwburgplein in Rotterdam. I never thought that 17 years later I would leave the new Rotterdam office for the last time. At the time, Sunweb was still a small organisation, led by real entrepreneurs. Sky-stormers with a clear strategy and ambition.&#8217; Bovenhorst describes the years that followed as &#8216;incredibly turbulent, challenging and extremely educational and fun&#8217;.<br \/>\n&#8216;In 2006 I started as Manager Retail, where I became responsible for the brands Marysol, TraXs and later Sudtours. After 5 years, I was given the opportunity to switch to the role of Manager Yield &amp; Revenue, also combined with Product Management for a number of years and back to Revenue Management.&#8217; According to Bovenhorst, Sunweb Group has made huge strides in the past 17 years and is now a respected international tour operator with growth ambitions.<br \/>\n&#8216;The organisation has been highly professionalised and is led by expert and ambitious colleagues. Especially in recent years, we have taken a big step in this professionalization. I would like to express my sincere thanks to my fantastic colleagues, both current and former. Together, we not only made the perfect team, but we also laughed, learned, celebrated, and celebrated successes.
