The inaugural flight of Corendon Dutch Airlines from Schiphol to Hato Airport on Cura\u00e7ao took off on Friday. At the gate at Schiphol, passengers were festively welcomed and welcomed by CEO Steven van der Heijden and founder Atilay Uslu. The Airbus A350 will later be welcomed at Cura\u00e7ao airport with a water salute and live music, among other things. Atilay Uslu, the founder of Corendon, is on board and speaks of a ‘historic flight’. “This is a moment we have been looking forward to for a long time and it is great to see that our efforts and dedication are paying off. Cura\u00e7ao is a beautiful destination and we are proud to offer our passengers the opportunity to discover this beautiful island with our flights.” The launch of the direct route to Cura\u00e7ao underlines Corendon’s commitment to expand its network on the island, says the touroeprator. Cura\u00e7ao’s Minister of Economic Development Ruisandro Cijntje, who was also present at the departure, spoke of a ‘memorable day for Cura\u00e7ao’. Corendon now flies three times a week between Amsterdam and Cura\u00e7ao, where they can enjoy beautiful beaches, vibrant culture and the hospitality of the island. From 15 December, the number of flights will be increased to five times a week. \"\"
