As a Travel Designer , you are (partly) responsible for putting together and selling tailor-made trips to the well-known and lesser-known destinations in North America. Because you need to be able to advise the client passionately about a destination, we expect you to have traveled, lived or worked in different parts of the United States and Canada and already have extensive experience in curating and selling trips. You will have personal consultations with clients to identify requirements and will be able to put together a suitable travel program based on this information. You will be in contact with our local agencies for this purpose. Good speaking and writing skills in Dutch and English are required. In addition, we expect your computer skills to be excellent and you will be proficient in at least MS Office programs Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Knowledge of Exact is a plus. On occasion, you will contribute to presentations and represent Untamed Travelling at trade shows and events. We all work from home and are not tied to an office location. Among ourselves, we are connected online and communicate through Skype and an integral telephone network. With more than 40 visitors and 14 providers from the US, Travel South can look back on a successful workshop in Amsterdam. The Double Tree Hilton was the setting for the day full of encounters with the southern states of the United States. The whole Monday was dedicated to speed dating. Divided into four rounds, with ten sessions per round, tour operators and media were able to meet providers from the southern US. Each session lasted nine minutes, so the pace was high. Almost all tourist topics per destination were discussed in rapid succession, from nature and culture to tips on how to combine multiple states as a travel agent/visitor.
